AOWA New PR Ambassador 2007
July 18, 2007
We went to M1r1 during the weekend to visit Inas’ cousins. Inas father’s elder brother and his family have moved from Ip0h early this year for a job progress in a Miri-based fleet company. They have been in Miri for a few months now but the weekend was our first time visiting them at their new home faraway from HOME.
Since they moved to Borneo, we have met them a few times actually – the kids & their mommy came to spent some time with us at this place when their father was busy helping his friend moving to a new house and my kids’ daddy was also busy attending work-related event in the same place. Then, they also visited us in B1ntulu. So, the last weekend was the first time they hosted us in their new home- situated less than 30 minutes to Brunei.
We seldom go to Miri. I personally find the journey of 3 hour driving along the new so-called highway with no R&R, only oil palm estates, is tiring and sometimes can be difficult when you have a kid who suddenly feel like she needs to poo there and then. Inas had the urge once and has been whining about it – but cancelled her intention when we stopped by the road side and mommy said- Kakak, there’s no toilet anywhere here. If you desperately realllllly need to poo, then you have to do it here.
-Where’s the toilet mommy? I do not see it????
Mommy said - There isn’t any toilet anywhere here. So, kakak nak ber@k ke tak?
-So, where can kakak Inas poopoo. . mommy???
Mommy said “Kakak can poo here.. on the ground..
-I don’t want to mommy..Err it’s ok mommy. I think I want to poo in M1r1. Kakak taknak dah!!
And she drifted to sleep when we continued our journey.
I believe she must have forced herself to sleep so she didn’t have to cope for the need to poo.

Anyway, our trip to M1r1 this time was for the visit and also to let the kids have some McDonalds which they only have once or twice in 3-4 months time- only either we went back to Smnjg or M1r1 (there’s none in B!n+ulu by the way)
But.. we somehow got involved with an unexpected event.
As we were coming down the escalator, a salesperson gave us a card saying.. Bang, ambiklah.. boleh dapat payung or mug FREE. Just go to our store and redeem for FREE.
My husband just took the small paper. I said, nak pergi ke? Kita dah ada byk payung dah.
But he said, jom je lah.. just get the free umbrellas and give it to *** (his brother) and *****his friend (in MCC) who is his brother’s neighbour now.
Ok then.. Let’s go!! said I. The store/showroom is just behind us.
The lady inside that showroom asked us to fill up the small paper that we got with our details. Then she handed us the free gifts – an umbrella and a mug. On the same time, we went to browse through their products which are already 17 years in market and the most famous is the flameless induction cooker. The guy who was the one who handed over to us the redeem voucher for the free gift at the escalator was already back in the store. A young guy but was very passionate and motivated explaining the technology of those made in Japan products.
Before we left the showroom, we had to open a mystery gift envelope which came together with the free mug we got. My husband did not want to open it because like always he said that he doesn’t have the lucky touch.. hehe
So, I opened the mystery gift voucher then I gave it to the sales assistant guy. At this time, there were already 3 sales assistant waiting to see what’s inside our envelope. Once they saw my mystery gift paper, all of them shrieked loudly with excitement which attracted the passers-by outside. They were very loud.
My husband and I were clueless and did not understand what’s going on.. we were seriously confused while the staff was making more commotions among themselves and later decided to call their big boss in KK about our mystery gift.
Ok, to cut it short – we got 2 FREE items sponsored by AOWA that are – Flameless Induction Cooker and Air Purifier.

But to bring this home we have to buy any one item of our choice. We have chosen the 15 pieces Stainless Steel Cookware Set. Since we used Maybank Zero% Monthly Installment, we got another FREE item that is AOWA Digital Pressure Cooker.

We are very happy!! Since we only have basic appliances at our very frugal-living home, these gifts came in a perfect time. My gas cooker is not functioning good. Sometimes, the flame decided to be very dimmed or did not want to light up at all. Hehe..and this is not exaggerating! And my NOT stainless steel worn out pots and pans are of course nothing fancy inherited from others. So, although we still have to pay for the AOWA stainless steel set, I am very grateful because the price of the set is just a tiny portion compared to the items we got for free.. Alhamdulillah!! Thanks to Allah for all the unexpected rezeki.

We were just about to go home when the big boss of the AOWA Borneo region called the staff and wanted to talk to my husband. The boss asked my husband to tell the serial number of our cash bill. So, he read him the numbers and I did not hear the following tele-conversations they had. My husband later passed back the phone to the staff because the boss wanted to break the news to them.
Again, they were almost shouting so excitedly and again I didn’t understand what’s going on. Well, it seems that number of our cash bill for the purchase of the stainless steel set is already marked in their system to be special.
Our cash bill number made us received 2 more FREE sponsored items from AOWA. We got AOWA Water Filter Vacum Cleaner and AOWA DVD Mini Component System.
*** Please click on the words for images and information.

Since we would like to accept this sponsorship from AOWA, we decided to buy AOWA 5 in 1 Microwave Convection Grill Oven.
It seems that I have no more excuses for not baking now *winks*
——————————————
AOWA has sponsored those 2 items for our home and we are the New PR Ambassador 2007 which also makes us an VIP Customer.
So, what’s the benefit of a VIP Customer? We can buy ALL AOWA products for 50 percent OFF for a lifetime.
We can bring as many family and friends anytime any often to buy AOWA products for 50 percent OFF.
If we would like to trade in any NON-AOWA products to AOWA, we can buy AOWA products for 60 % OFF.
Hmmm.. do you think that this is a good deal considering the good track record of AOWA products?
And of course we are entitled to a lifetime after sales services of ALL AOWA products.
————————————
All in all, we only paid 30 percent of the TOTAL value of the products and the payment is spread for 24 months interest free. It is very affordable considering our frugal living condition. We also got to be AOWA Lifetime VIP Customer and share its benefits with many people.
The sharing part makes me happier. I can use my AOWA VIP Customer privilege so that more people can afford to experience happy times in the kitchen using the Flameless Induction Cooker
and any other AOWA appliances.
I am happy happy and happy because eventually I have all the appliances to make my days at home easier. They will speed up the house-chores for me.. and I will have less excuses to be tired sweeping and mopping the floor

*** Because of this, the staff of AOWA Boulevard M1r1 had snapped our photo to be featured in AOWA Newsletter. Haha!!
